Less than 24 hours to go.
I just wanted to thank all the wonderful people here at Indiamike who helped me with everything that I needed for my trip. Train tix, hotel info, how to deal with the touts, how to use the loo and not to pee in the sink! Couldn't have done without you guys.
I am starting in Delhi, going to agra as a day trip. Then moving on to Jaisalmer --> Jaipur --> Udaipur --> Sawaii madhopur --> Amritsar --> ambala -->Delhi I must admit, I am more nervous than I thought I would be. I have been preparing for this trip for a month. Lots of effort involved in this. Now I am trying to make sure that I am not forgetting anything that should be in my suitcase. <Fingers Crossed> Really worried! I can't let my girlfriend know that i am nervous, cause that will freak her out. Also going with the girlfriend to get couple of burgers and Miller lites. |

You're not nervous . . . not scared . . . you're excited! (though it sometimes wears the face of nervousness). And you should be!! I'm in that mode too . . . two weeks to go . . . Have a Great Trip. Scott

I agree with Darmabum - your very excited
and as well prepared as you can be. Now just relax , keep cool during the first few days when everything can seem overwhelming - its all part of the incredible experience that is India. Some things will be easier than you thought, and others different. Have a great trip - look forward to your posts on return.![]() |

Have a wonderful and safe trip !!
I notice you have mentioned Ambala in your itinerary. If you intend halting at Ambala, then do visit Chandigarh for a couple of days. And of course, if you have the time and the inclination, go on to Shimla ! All the best !

Hold on Chosen one - You're not going anywhere. I have noticed that you haven't completed your IM-EXAM yet. If you go up to Quick links and scroll down you find the box with the link to your personal on-line exam. You must score at least 90% or IndiaMike.com will automatically cancel your flight. We only graduate bonafied Indiaphiles.
Just kidding! Bon Voyage! ![]()
