Ist timer needs help

Hi Im new to this site, think its great, very helpful I need some advise please. We are going to India, for the 1st time in the middle of March, flying into Mumbai, we have until the middle of June until we come home. We want to try and aviod the monsson as much as poss. We thought we may go up to Delhi and do the golden triangle first and over to Varanasi, then we would like to head over towards Jaisalmer and down to Goa for about the begining of May. We also really want to go to Kerala before the rain comes, is this pushing it a bit do you think!? Once it rains is it a good idea to get over towards Madras, we are also thinking about flying out of here to go home. Has anyone got any advise on airpasses in India also? Any advise, suggestions on the trip would be much appreciated. Thanks

You are worrying to much about the monsoon and not worrying enough about the heat.

Welcome to IM, Happy1. As Anders pointed out u needn't worry about monsoon. Monsoon will start only in the first week of June, starting from the southern tip of India, Kerala. March to June u will be facing Summer.

Please use the "Search" option in IM and you will find most of the topics u need discussed in detail. Dont worry too much.

It is getting hot in Kerala in May, but not unbearably so by any means. It will be raining, probably in the evenings.

Chennai, however, in May and June is disgustingly hot...

Edit: I forgot to say "Welcome to IM "
