Israeli trekkers

Hey,

I'm just wondering what you guys know about the masses of israelis that head to India? Where they chill? What they do?

Shalom akhi ,
There r many places where israeli's hang out paharganj is one of them............in Delhi.There is badkhabad in that area n it's realy cheap place where u find cheap hotels to stay.
Than u can go to Rishikesh.....Manali....Kasol. ...These r all cool places for summer n can enjoy with ur jewish friends.

There's also Tel Aviv beach in Vagator, Goa. I'd assume you'll be able to find quite a few israeli's there.

israelis get a bad name about travelling through india but i was almost disappointed not to come across that many and the ones i did seemed polite and well behaved.

except the hippy in paharganj who got mad about a roll being served with the wrong type of bread or something. but no one's perfect.

Hi: If you have seen other past threads then its not a secret that Israel tourists like to stay in Goa/Manali areas.

They come out as very rude to local Indian tour operations related people but to some extent the Indian travel business at the low cost levels deserve being treated straight-forward.

To turn the tables on you... what attracts Israel folks to India?
Of what I heard, they want to chill(um) out after the mandatory army service is over. Kan or Lo?
I need your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle.

I think that the traditional israeli route is now: mumbai - goa - hampi - varanasi - rishikesh - mcleod ganj - manali, from December til June.

Just an idea but why don't you forget where the Israelis are and get stuck in to where the Indians are? (Unlike other Israelis) - soz but I see a pattern emerging here . . . .
