Intrepid in October
I'm not really looking for a travel partner but am just curious to see who else will be in the group I'm joinin in October. I've signed up for Interpid's "Dehil to Kathmandu Overland" trip which starts on October 15th. It will be nice to meet some of the people going.

I was going to do slowly down the ganges as well, but I wasn't sure if I could handle more than one day on a river boat. I was told by another Interpid veteran that Intrepid does not release names and contact info of other group members for the obvious security reasons. However, it would be nice to at least get to know some of your fellow travelers before going. Knowing the destination and style of Intrepid trips has got be quite curious and excited about meeting the mix of people I'll be travelling with. This will be my first trip to India.

I did 'Slowly Down the Ganges' last November. It was wonderful. We ended up in Pushkar during the Camel Fair! My friend and I left the group there and stayed a bit longer in Pushkar, then traveled on our own for a week before flying south for Intrepid's 'Southern India'.
Next year we're thinking of 'Mountains and Mystics' plus some more independent travel in the north. You are going to have a blast! |

Im not realy worried about the 2 and a bit days on the boats, It wil give u a nice breake from Delhi, I also look as it as a way to relax and get to know ur fellow travlers . Im sure that it would beat sitting in a bus for 3days , and think that you get to camp by the mighty ganges.. How many people can say that ... WELL ok maybe a few that read this web site... I have only 7 days to I leave... Can't wait... ![]() |
