My condolences, and if you know anyone who needs santuary, many private citizens are lobbying the government to find ways to give selected Americans (you know who) refugee status if they need it.
Thanks Snowcrab!
I visited New Brunswick & Nova Scotia recently & fell in love with the beautiful country & seaside. My great grandfather was from PEI. I've got to visit there next. I love Canada & would emigrate if we could think of a way to make a living. My husband is a techie & I was a teacher. Not much call for that probably in PEI! Especially as we are older & i only speak english & he only speaks english, hindi, oria, maharstran & bengali!

Did you see the jokes that had all of the blue states joining Canada?

Yes, you probably would need French to teach in NB, it's the only province outside of Quebec that has actually achieved bilingualism. The others maybe not. Beautiful part of Canada. The world is opening up in so many ways what with being able to work on-line and more people getting access to resources to travel, anything can happen. I find what works for me is to just kind of focus on the goal, be patient, have faith and eventually the universe will deliver the means.

Right now I'm praying that even some of those red state people who are afflicted start to recover their sanity. When you think of that 51%, the first 1.5% of them are all those people who own 90% of the wealth of the country(if not that of the continent). That means there is really only 48.5% of non-filthy rich people supporting that 1.5% controling group and that is slipping every day. Canadians would just like to help grease the skids anyway we can because we like living in a world where we like the neighbors and they like us, and that is just not happening right now.
