FYI, none of the "Indian" portions of the movie was shot in India. The Indian govt refused to give permission to shoot the movie in India after reviewing the script.

Definately the worst of the series.....
I do love the trilogy myself, don't know how I'd feel about them if I was an India, Egyptian or German though....

Big fan of IJ and can't wait for the 'Crystal Skull'. But the "Temple of Doom' was a dud. With all the beautiful landscape & architecture to work with in Sri Lanka - it's a pity so much of it was shot in that 'studio' dark cave.
Also with all the history, mystery & great cinematography options at one's disposal in India - they could/should have come up with a much better script/plot .... at least to appease the Indian film content screeners & make the film reviewable for it's subcontinent 'on location' content.

huge fan here
The potential for this series of movies was huge. The plot was sadly nowhere near what it could have been. The technology the nazis actually had. What these movies actually could have accuratly exposed about history. Well at least when I was a kid I did not care about historical accuracy, and just enjoyed the movie.
