India has lots of weather. All the time.
Look at this excellent BBC link to see not only current weather, but also monthly averages (with the 'discomfort factor' mentioned):
http://www.bbc.co.uk/cgi-perl/weathe...dia&x =40&y=4
(if this doesn't work, go to the BBC weather page and do a search for 'india' in the city box, you get the whole list, including links to averages for certain cities).

But, have you been in India during th monsson? It is really horrible the rain or we can survive?
We are arriving to Delhi on the 7th of july, we want to go to Agra for visiting the Taj, and then go straitgh to the South, cause I heard that on the South the monsoon is weaker than on the north!
thak you again!

Yes, the monsoon is comparatively less in the South than in the West, from July to Sept. Its particularly severe on the West coast, from Kerala to Gujarat. You can visit Madhya Pradesh and some places in the Eastern part of the country too.

Shimla, I hope I do not abuse your knowledge base or time...
We plan to visit India 3-4 week of August.
Hm, my deepest concern is the weather.
We've choosen Rajastahan for our destination as not too monsooned - our research until now.
Is it right according to your knowledge?
Would you suggest any other region if we want to walk on the road, sigt-see, meet people and not catch too much rain?

Misiek,
You are certainly not abusing my knowledge base(whatever little I have!) or time(this I seem to have in plenty, as I've a 24hr. internet facility at my residence-cum-office; where I'm my own boss! ).

In any case, the principal purpose of this forum; as I see it; is to help potential visitors to India.

You are right about Rajasthan receiving lesser rain than say, the West coast in August, but it will be hot and sticky with some rain. Not the ideal weather or climate for sight-seeing, but you can go.

You can also visit Indore, Mandu, Omkareshwar and Maheshwar, in Madhya Pradesh, in August.

Great! Shimla, Thank you for clearing my doubts about asking you for help.
I'll be happy to do something for return if you need anything.
So, we will study locations you mentione above in our Lonely planet guide to India.
O, it's great to be the boss to ourselves (for me it works good too). Now I work on financial security to have reserves big enough for few months :-)

Rajasthan in August, still relatively hot. However, only God can predict South Asian weather..
