indian spirituality !! the real meaning !!!

ok now i may not be a very vocal member here but i do read indiamike quite eagerly and again and again i come across india being spirtutal!!!! now i am definately a bit lost here coz i am an indian and what i see around is hypocrisy , doublestandards and above all corruption (you dont expect spirtual people to have such a corrupt system do u?). People are very religious no doubt about that. but isnt being religious and spiritual something different ?so can you plzz explain to me what you mean by indians are spiritual? maybe its something which i myself dont realise as i dont see india from your world but from an indians point of view from inside. and i am assuming when you say india is spiritual you dont mean the ghats at varansi and the priests in temple but you are more or less talking of an average man you would meet in a train or bus or on the road. so plzz explain the indian spirituality you find to me and how is it different from your country.
