Indian Online Travel Reservation Sites

Has any of the travelers used Online travel sites like Yatra, Make my Trip, Travel Guru etc. for flights or hotel bookings and what has been your experience with the service offered. Do they deliver what they promise?

I have used Makemytrip to purchase plane tickets and my experience was a good one, however just yesterday I was searching Makemytrip for hotels and found one that I thought looked great, after some complications during the online booking process I gave up and called them directly...

Although makemytrip stated that they had two different rooms available the hotel staff stated that the entire hotel (8 rooms) had been booked a week before...thankfully we had called to book, or we would have really disappointed upon our arrival at the hotel.

I have just received my flight e-ticket and accommodation vouchers through Make My Trip. Their services was great - I made contact with one of the consultants (Suruchi.Sah@makemytrip.com) and she was of great assistance! I had to scan the back and front of my credit card and they have accepted my South African Visa card with no problems.
