Rediff is one of those new media companies that carries some very *radical* articles every now and than. Anyways, i have been lurking here for a while now and most of the people here have a very balanced view of the world. What does everyone think of this article ?

It's a good article. I wouldn't call it radical, though. It seems pretty moderate, unless you are a Republican from America.

India's English-language media tend to be pretty liberal because their readership is tiny, and those folks tend to be college-educated liberal types, too. Rediff targets the NRI market, also. Immigrants, even wealthy businessmen, lean toward the left in the United States (even though there are plenty of Republican NRIs here).

The other thing India's media have in generous abundance is opinion--what they don't have is investigative reporting. Don't forget that "pundit" comes from Hindi.
