Don't you just hate the people who count off the days before they leave?

In the style of No.27. Slightly premature but i'm excited! (about leaving) (premature as in by half an hour) (look stop sniggering I know what I meant)

Threeeeeeeeeeeee........

Daaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh..........

a little over 2 days left.....Goan, I'm still not there yet......Suitcase, 23 days have passed in a blnk of an eye for me and in a little over 29 hours and 5 minutes, I will have a little over 29 hours and 5 minutes left, just watch em fly by.

Bought my TC's today and a nifty little pouch thingy for stuff I don't want to carry in a bag on my back. It fits onto my belt or over a shoulder and is big enough for things I might want to take out with me for a day out. Just thought you should know.

I think i've developed an Obsessive Compulsive Disorder because of all this packing and unpacking. I checked the weather yesterday and it's so hot in most of the places i'm planning to go to that I could leave most of what i'm taking behind if i wasn't planning to head to the hills. Oh well, you live and learn eh.

Go Goan.

So now what am I supposed to do?

I've lost the spare battery for my digital camera so ill buy another today. errrrrrrrr....meeting friends for lunch..........ah, yes! photos to collect. we've had some brilliant sunsets over the Channel recently. Such a drab name that, 'channel'. What's an Isthmus? Something to do with rivers no doubt. typical. i'm rambling so more later.

Once more, in the style of the guy who does the countdown on Thunderbirds...

Two.........

Ka-Blaammmmmmmmmm

...to be continued. Tomorrow we will bring you the number One and the sound 'One!!' with a drum roll for good measure.

sod the laws of physics

14 hours to go and no matter what i try my backpack is not the tardis. I knew i should have paid attention in physics at school. So much stuff, so little space. I fear i am doing things backwards, i have to take the stuff for teaching but i am having a holiday first and will have to lug it around for 2 weeks.

Oh well, I'm going and that's far more exciting than the pain of a heavy pack. Plus i will get big strong shoulders i guesss.
Padma.
