Home Exchange experiences ?
Home Exchange experiences ?
Dear IMers
I hope some of you might have heard or read about the concept of "home exchange". This is quite popular in the west (Europe, America, Asia etc) and many vacationers use this to save thousands of dollars of cost from their vacation expenses. This concept is not yet popular in India.
I wanted to know if any of you (and especially those of you who are in India) have experienced or used "home exchange" personally. If so I am eager to know about your experiences. I would like to use this some day and would want to learn from your experience.

I doubt if this concept will ever take roots in India. We have complete absence of civic sense, and complete absence of responsible behaviour towards our surroundings.
On top of that, we bring up our children in the same way. They can do anything, and all that they get is praise for destructive behaviour, with a big proud smile (Bahut shaitan ho gaya hai, i.e He has become very naughty)
So, even if house exchange happens, it will end in a lot of cribbing, and a lot of repair/cleaning work to go with that.

Sometimes, the joy that the Daybreak brings, is unparalleled!
