Holiday romance in India?

Is it even possible? Is it even advisable? Could it lead to a lot of trouble? It would raise a few eyebrows I'm sure. What do you think? A foolish idea?

I would guess that it depends what exactly you mean by that.

Are we talking one night stands? Potentially serious relationships? With who, exactly? Where would you meet these people? I think the devil is in the details. There would be a world of difference between having a casual fling with a middle class beach-goer over several weeks in Goa and blatantly shagging some chai-wallah in a train bathroom.

I think the gender permutations also make a difference -- I'd guess that it's more acceptable for a white woman to have a 'holiday romance' with an Indian man than for a white man to do the same with an Indian woman.

Oh, yes... the PMs... ...

Opo... is blatant shagging different to the usual sort? (if there's any such thing as the usual sort, of course). Is it to be recommended?

Is this thread suitable for children?

You know -- I mean like loudly calling out to the chai wallah: "Meet me in the toilet in 5 minutes, and I'll..."

It should be perfectly acceptable to shag railway chai wallahs as long as one is subtle about it in front of one's fellow passengers.

- no

OP has lost interest already - no reply to anyone. Why bother coming to India? Closer to home for a holiday romance I should think - less costly. Unless it's a romance with bf and wanting to go to exotic location... It's very unclear to me what she really means..
