There would be rain....

The Road from Bangalore to Mangalore can be best described in stages. Bangalore to Saklespur, just OK with some spots of major damage to the highway. Saklespur to Nellyadi, ghat road, damaged around the bends. Nellyadi to Bantwal, just OK...... Then Bantwal to Mangalore..... 25 kms of torture. You would rue the decision to come down to Mangalore.

Take care guys.....

Except for the roads (which are really bad - particularly in the ghats and from Bantwal - Mangalore) the rains are manageable. It rains, at times heavily, but not continiously.

All ghat roads are the same during monsoons, so cannot suggest alternate.
