Hand painted kashmiri crafts - wholesale

Hello all,

I've been looking for a wholesaler of papermaché kashmiri products - you know the little boxes, bells, balls, bracelets etc but I've had trouble doing so online and I don't have a trip planned soon. There's a wonderful shop in Khan Market in Delhi which stocksthis type of stuff from top to bottom but I can't find that online either to start searching.
If any of you know a wholesaler who specializes in these products or you have any ideas where I can find this out please reply!

Many thanks to all

Valini

Contact the Kashmir State Emporium - the next time you're in Delhi. They will supply you with their list of various handicraft suppliers - and then you can take it from there ......

Thanks Peak - I thought of that, it's just that as I said I won't be in Delhi for a while and I was hoping to get the ball rolling before then. If I don't get any leads I'll have to wait but I hope it won't come to that.

Then I'd just call them. I'm sure they'll supply you with the information. They are there to promote Kashmiri handicrafts - regardless of wholesale or retail. Otherwise there's a bunch on the internet - one big one on Ebay I think. Pot luck without referrals though.

Yes I know, I'll 'jump in' but it's true that if someone recommends a place or has heard good stuff it's always an extra comfort when you plan on ordering a fair amount.
Thanks for the address and number.
