Hi IndiaGuide, just for clarity please, when this is stated "Those who like to take guide services, they must take authorised guides of Tourism Department, Govt. of India." The "they must", does this mean very bad trouble if we do not, or your satisfaction will be guaranteed by utilising our services.

I do notice such statements as "they must" in many documents and it sounds rather intimidating if it over the top, could be friendlier if you know what I mean. Anyway I have used the Tourism Department, Gov't. of India services and found it to be quite ok, though hiring an aircon car and not being allowed to turn it on to save on the fuel was a bit rich or poor. Seems like the drivers have the screws twisted into them to make profit not comfort.
