Cool Free Train Tickets - Bikaner/Delhi

Due to flight details changing I am unable to use some train tickets I have previously booked.
The two tickets are for the Bikaner / Delhi shatabadi express leaving Bikaner on the 2nd Jan at night, arriving Delhi at 06.30 on the 3rd.
The two tickets are "non transferable" but I guess a couple could pass themselves off as me and my wife.

Are these of any use to anybody ?

I think you are talking about train 4792 departing from Bikaner at 19:50, what class off accommodation is the ticket? some people wouldn't like sleeper class.

About what age would the couple (or single person) need to be? (as the age/sex is displayed on the ticket).

Where could the tickets be picked up?

BTW. great idea pids.

I had a ticket from Mumbai to Goa I wasn't going to use, I went to Mumbai CST ticket office and give it to a tourist.

I sure you can get a refund on the tickets.
Four of us went from mumbai to delhi, and on the return journey my wife didnt fancy the long train ride back and wanted to fly back.We went to a travel agent and he advised to go to the station and get a refund. We had to pay a small booking fee,and got our cash back.

hi,
I assume you are in India right now. Pravin is right when he says that you can return the tickets to any railway booking centre using a cancellation form.
If you return early enough you will get almost the entire amount back, besides transferring tickets like that for a train like shatabdi where tickets are normally easily available and are top tier trains would be a risk. I would advise against travelling on such a ticket.
If you are not able to canc el them yourselves ask your hotel to contact a travel agent to get them cancelled , pay the agent comission, and feed some poor children.

There are no Shatabdi's from Bikaner, train 4792 is not even a 'Superfast' train.

If there is a couple who would like to use that train....

I'm sure it's a great feeling to know you've made someone's day, all for £11 (Rs850)....if 2A

I dont' know, you try to do someone a favour..........

Yes, the tickest are on the 4792 from Bikaner.
The tickets were Indiarail one day passes, bought in London so we cannot get our money back.
The tickets are for two people male aged 32, female aged 31, so if you fancy these, and can pass yourself of as being this approx age the tickets are available - if anyone wants them they will be left at a hotel reception in Bikaner.
Seats are reserved, I have written seat nr's etc on the tickets.
