| four months from today.... Exactly four months from today I leave for Chennai to study yoga, woo-hoo! Of course, I plan to stick with IM up to the very last minute to read all these great posts. Many thanks to all of you who have helped me with my questions (especially Nick in Chennai ).....I'm sure I will have lots more before I leave.namaste

| Do quickly abandon all our suggestions when you get to India--make your own way. All the advice here is just about peace of mind. Once you step off the plane, and that first blast of diesel- and jasmine-suffused subcontinental air hits your face, you're on your own. ![]() |

| As for that Indian airport smell... damp and disinfectant as well as fuel! I always take a big deep wonderful breath of it when I arrive in Chennai. Within 24 hours you will stop noticing that everything smells damp. But, 4 months? Oh! How can you wait that long?!!! |
