Fonts of Wisdom: do you get South Asian scripts on your screen?

I have a bunch of exotic scripts on my MacBook.
I had already downloaded 2 or 3 Bengali fonts on my PC.
For more, I like to use Script Picker: http://people.w3.org/rishida/scripts/pickers/bengali/
I also have Bengali script on my G-mail at Google.
Of course, my computer has built-in Greek script since it is purchased in Greece!

I think (not sure) one could download/copy a .ttf file from a Linux or Windows machine, and let font manager take care of the rest.
