Can't imagine starving yourself would do any good in the long run..after all..we live in a physical world..but i have done a 3 day fast and felt very clear headed for it...Moderation...didn't Budha say that?

Not sure about your concentration but a friend of mine is convinced that if we all eat less, the world would be a better place.
see: http://ourworldonfire.blogspot.com/2...w-climate.html Was also mentioned in the Lancet, one of the world's most renowned medical journals. |

Starving oneself is dangerous. But eating frugally does increase focus. Just after you have eaten most of your bodies energy gets used in the digestive process which can even cause sleepiness/tiredness. Eating very light will take less energy for digestion and leave more for other things. Just about two handfuls for breakfast and lunch are enough and sometimes just lemon juice in the evening. Meat is harder to digest and takes more energy and also has very low prana for the body anyway.
