Does anybody know this travel agency?
Hello Everybody,
I plan to book my travel with a travel agency in India called Services Internationl. I will pay them a $100 deposit before my trip and when I get to India, they will charge me the rest of the price right at the beginning of the trip. Does anybody know this agency? And do you think it's ok to pay them the fee right at the beginning of the trip? Thanks, Kabi |

When I used an agency to travel from UK the terms were full payment before departure. It was a very personal service (well ... not that personal!
) and I had no dounts. Does your agency belong to a National organisation that guarantees your money if the company suddenly dies? That's the main thing to check.

difficult thing
I normally do not take money in upfront.97% honor the booking 1% do not turn up .1% cancell with notice and due reason.1% take advantage of the sitution they do not have to pay the money in upfront.
But an organisation if they need to book other places for your travel they may need some money in upfront and when you arrive you have to make payment as they have to pay all the places they have booked. You have a great option of booking places directly and use public transport or local taxies in between the places, If you are doing a special area then a travel agency who knows the terrain and contact will be advisable . It is upto you and no perfect yes or no Enjoy India |

Thanks for your comments.
The agency claims to be recognized by the Department of Tourism (Govt. of India) & also are members of IATA, IATO AND TAAI. I will know the whole plan and I will only pay them after I get to India. The only worry is paying them the money right at the beginning and then going to another city and realizing that no hotel is booked for us or no car is waiting for us. |
