Do people here only meet in india???

On reading a few posts I notice that when a travelller is in india they arrange to meet some people that live/work/are travelling in india.

Has anyone actually met someone from these forums while not in india? Like if u happen to both live in london (like me) or paris etc etc

I'm proud host of the Canberra, Australia branch of IM. All one of us
But on the off chance anyone else is ever passing through, get in touch!

I'm hoping to meet up with some other IM'ers when I'm in India next, but might wait until it's a bit closer until I start organising anything... exactly 6 months till I leave, as of today!

I've met only one IMer so far; indiaguide; at Kolkata(again India!)

I hope to meet one member who's planning a visit here this October. Anybody else planning to visit Yangon in the near future??

We in New Delhi, are luckier and have met many IMers, including Indiamike, Bijapuri, VolgaVolga, WWUSA, Indiaguide, Bryonic, BegamBij.....
I've met Sudheer, when I was in Banglore.
In Delhi, its been quite since last few months, on the meetup front. But I guess, it will pick-up as the tourist season starts.
In Delhi we normally have a meetup when a fellow IMer is in town and I guess not many are travelling to India(north) right now.

Hi Vinay

I am from Delhi too, include me whenever u meet up next

I think now the number of IMer's based in Delhi is respectable enough that we can meet-up without any reason....just for a beer/chai (in a kulhad )...or may be it can start with a Chai and whoever wants the beer to stay back

Ideas anyone ???

Rikko

If we were to have a meeting close to Kings Cross on Saturday 19th June, could you make it?

There is a good train service between St Albans and Kings Cross.
