Thanks cyberhippie. I will keep an arsinal of words like "Nahin, bas" on hand for some occassions, and a good sense of humor for other occassions, and lots of shaking my head, and maybe racing across those chaotic roads . . . anyway, I'm reading a book by New Age preacher Louis Hay, and she says about the same thing that you do about people who bother us. We should just bless them (at least silently) and move on. If we concentrate our mental energy on them, then they'll be doubly drawn to us.
Okay, so that's my new plan. I won't think or plan what to do. I won't imagine what bad might happen. Only the positive. Of course if I get surounded by touts I'll just try to remember some of the advice here. And what's the worst that could happen? I could get convinced to drop a few dollars here and there buying trinkets. I don't have to take them back with me. It's not like last October in London where the exchange rate was practically two dollars per Pound. Everything I bought, no matter what or where, felt lke a cruel ripoff. Now
that was suffering.
