Crying to the sky at night for God to turn on Sun

Today early morning 2 of my doctor friends returned from voluntary work in the valley. I really admire them. Both do private practice & those who are in this trade would appreciate the loss they would have suffered for keeping their chambers closed for 10 days at the face of immense competition.
One of them landed at my home to return sleeping bags they had borrowed from me. I was told that the situation on our side is quite under control. But on the other side it is not so good. Freezing winds at night are taking its toll on the shelterless people. Although American doctors have been arriving my friend laments that when it comes to ascertaining the right dosage for emergency antibiotic medication especially with starving patients, doctors from the same geographical region have a better grasp of the immunity & tolerance levels.
There had been a report of one person succumbing to a dangerous contagious disease in Pakistan. I have forgotten the name, you know how these doctors are they will have a 26 letter word for a stomach ache. When I said that it is just one person my friend's grim reply was that every epidemic starts with one but end with many.
We all sincerely pray for the safety of those who are still out in the cold rain & snow.
