Come'on Indiamikers....Lets help Mumbaikars

Seven major explosions have been reported on local trains in Mumbai. The first explosion took place at 6:25 PM at Khar station.Several blood-stained bodies were seen lying on the tracks. Limbs were strewn and blood was splattered all over the compartments where the blasts took place while all the coaches suffered excessive damage, most of them being ripped off.

We Indiamikers together strongly condemn the "brutal and shameful" terrorist attacks in Mumbai in which 160 people were killed and another 300 injured.
Lets stand united through our shared values and our shared determination to defeat terrorism in all its forms.

THE BRAVE CITIZENS of Mumbai have shown resilience, fortitude, courage and patience in dealing with this untoward incident.

How can we help them?

Smart Work, Smartguy!!! Keep up the good work!!! Thanks for the helpful information too. I am sure it will be of help to many who have been affected. For a change this time there was some disaster management at work, with women being asked to go to some of the school halls to stay for the night as the trains are not running till the tracks are cleared. many people were out on the streets giving water and biscuits to people stranded in the huge traffic jams that has no movement at all for hours on end. I tried to go to work at the airport for my night shift but had to return back home as nothing was moving for at least two hours, so with a heavy heart I trudged back home.

Hope the violence will end someday soon. May PEACE prevail on Earth!!!

Aadil.

Locating.......

* Lastingnews.com has a google mash-up showing the location of the various blasts on google maps

* The Counterterrorism Blog has an accurate map of the Mumbai rail system and location of attacks and information on previous terror attacks perpetrated by Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), the Pakistan terrorist organization with deep ties to al-Qaeda.

The morning after the devastating blasts on the Western railway line, life is back to normal for the ever-resilient Mumbaikars. More than 90% citizens are back at work.

Kudos to the Policemen, Healthworkers n spirited Social workers who could not have done better than this.

The day has almost passed off....the fear lingers on but..everyone although cautious is moving on n on.

Hasan.......from Pakistan.

It's so sad to hear about this horrific incident. Prayers and condolences for all those who've been affected by this tragedy...

When times are hard,
& filled with grief

close your eyes,
to seek relief

that comes from heart,
& makes you strong

to shed all fear,
& to end all wrong

to help and share,
the courage to fight

that's what's needed,
at a darker night

We all in Lahore share this moment of pain & despair with you.
