cleaning of chillum

namaste all,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good way to clean a used chillum, and take it back home (without getting sniffed out.) I heard boiling it in milk and then soaking it in lemon juie works to remove the THC and the smell but I tried this and it didn't work too well. Maybe buying a new one would be easier

Any advice would be great

Pack it well then send it by post.

If you get caught with it in your luggage you will probibly get to experience a very personal search that you wont forget for a long time.

I sent a package of 20 chilums (unused) from India, and when I got them, all but about 8 of them had been unwrapped and broken in half.

That was my first reaction too. Don't write a sender's address. Just in case you get busted by your Customs, you can say you have no idea who sent it to you.

Have someone else write down the address on the package for you as well in that case. Even safer, never touch the chillums or the packaging material at all yourself.

Theoretically you should be able to take along unused chillums as "souvenirs." Practically I wouldn't risk it and buy one at your nearest headshop. People do obviously take them along and import them however, but I'd personally rather have them run the risk.

Sending it home is a lot of trouble for nothing and you still run a small risk of having a few problems, maybe not convictions but problems.
Give your prize chilum to the first Sadhu you see and buy another. There isn't a law against clean smoking paraphanalia and unused you can always plead innocence, not so easy with trace THC ya know what I mean!
The best thing of all would as someone else said, just buy one when you get home!!

Never heard of this "porblem" before...
I think most places in europe anyways you will be OK having a unused chillim in your bag. Its a peace of pottery aint it?
Whats the crime?
Silly laws...

So The best chillums are the Italian ones I been told... But the One you pass around the breakfasttable in Goa (in a big black wooden box with green carpet inside) to Impress people. Is the Crystal Chillum! Now how cool is that? Ehrm...
