Calling India
anyone know the best online place to get cheap calling cards for calling from the us to india?
Try www.reliablecom.com
It has worked well for me. Also they advertise on their website another website that has a fixed 800 number/Pin facility that you can recharge. Never tried that.

Calling India
Don't go the pin and calling card route. Royal pain in the a**. When you don't get through, it's atleast 32 digits of redialing and some nice arthiritic fingers.
Try the following link:
www.relianceindiacall.com
What you do is register your cell/home phone number with them and enroll in either prepaid plan or calling card plan. After that all you do is call their 1800 number (they identify your phone) and then dial your india number starting with 91. Comes to about 11 cents/minute.

have you used this service with success? sounds great! Calling India
Yeap,
Been using it for the past 3 months after trying calling cards for the past 4 years. It's much cheaper and easier to use. Also, if you get disconnected they don't charge extra minutes for reconnecting you (a lot of calling cards do). Just give it a shot (try the prepaid plan for $5.00).
