You can buy blank cd's in India (sony, samsung, HP...) for about Rs 25-30 which exchanges to 50-60 euro cents...

I think it would be cheaper to buy them here as per need, rather than carrying a 50 cd load all the way from poland..

I am really curious about your music taste

im really into all sorts of different stuff, mostly pop music from the past 50 or 60 years. i like stuff like the beatles, velvet underground, the stooges, mc5, pink floyd (a whole lot) and stuff like that as far as the 60s go. 70s and 80s im down with elvis costello, the police (a whole lot), minor threat, the cure, the who, the smiths/morissey, sonic youth, dead kennedys, crass, buzzcocks, the cars. late 80s to present i like the pixies, NIN, mudhoney, at the drive-in, fugazi, mars volta... man, i could go on forever, i pretty much like everythign from as gay as nico or morrisey to stuff like the locust or charles bronson.

and thanks for the ideas everyone, im going to be pissed if customs stops me... i have a nomad mp3 player but its malfunctioning and i dont have time to send it to get repaired which really sucks because it would be the most conveinent thing.

blank CDs

Hey… it’s crazy to bring 50 blank CDs to India for recording. You can buy blank CDs for as cheap as rs 7 to rs 30 a piece locally.

(Moserbaer is a company located at New Delhi making 8 out of 12 top brand CDs in the world !!!)

Thanks Beach.
I'll try to investigate Moserbaer.
What is your experience with buing blank CD's in places smaller than Delhi?
I wonder if I shall buy all in Delhi?
Misiek.

Customs might steal them

my husband had 20 big chocolate bars in his luggage & indian customs said you are not allowed to bring so many & took all but 4 of them for themselves.
However this was 1993 & he was still an Indian citizen back then.
There are great music stores like Rythm house in mumbai where you can buy new American music CD's for $6.
So are you going to spend your whole trip to India with headphones on?
