As expected....

A british vote to leave the eu could shatter the united kingdom

....and what's this?

Quote:
All Commonwealth citizens living in the UK are allowed to vote in the June 23 referendum
All 'Commonwealth' citizens in UK?

brexit may give australians easier immigration to uk

The Raj.. The Empire ! The pols don't want to repeal it - Afterall it is votebank. Exit polls in the last May's election suggested a certain sub-groups of Indians voted heavily for the Conservative Party. You think David wants to give that up ?

It'll be back to the old joke: Headline reads Fog in the Channel: Europe Isolated

And my UK state pension, in 15 months time, that I spent most of my life not even thinking about, and am now looking forward to like a five-year-old looks forward to Christmas, will decimated in value against the rupee or any other world currency
~
Life gets aadhar every day.

Talking

Fog in the Channel was the smoke from burning sheep.
Nothing's changed.

Interesting!

from the link: "Both sides played to emotion, and the most common emotion played upon was fear." Sounds like America now with Trump!

Quite expected given the wave of nationalistic & isolationist viewpoints gaining ground all over the world, the same will most likely result in a win for Trump too.

I am wondering what will happen to Scotland etc now, will this result in unstable UK Also, the concept of globalized economy seems to be benefiting few, like London getting all the positives of being in EU whereas rest of the country remains untouched.

Interesting times ahead for the world.

Does this mean, that New EUropeans, and standing-in-the-queue-to-get-in EU wannabes will have to learn German/French as a second language ?

The Headlines should probably be Sun Readers Ruin Britain.

Neither am I. The writing for the EU has been on the wall for sometime; if not the UK, it would have been somebody else sooner or later. (But who is next now??)

Me, too, thinking about Scotland (and Ireland). Another challenge for Cameron's replacement.
