Back In The "Real World"
Just arrived back in Australia after four months travelling, the last three weeks in India including Hyderabad-Hampi-Goa-Mumbai-Ellora-Ajanta-Mandu
-Indore-Jaipur. I'll certainly post some thoughts and impressions of these places later on when the jet lag passes and I've dealt with some of the tasks neccessary now that I'm back in the 'real world'.Not that I'm sure this is the real world.I'm starting to think the real world is travelling and meeting people and discovering new places.Maybe it's just the jet lag. I knew it was jet lag.I was actually in India for seven weeks, not three. Last edited by Dino : Dec 10th, 2005 at 14:25. Reason: Jet Lag |

Dino
Hope you've recovered from your jetlag. I look forwad to your posts on your travels. I'm back a week and still am not 'with it'. I seem to be continually distracted with memories of my experiences. But I think this is pretty common. Though I am enjoying a few glasses of wine - which I missed in India - to get back to 'normal' Cheers Aussie 5 |

Hi Aussie 5,
Yes,feeling heaps better today though I don't think there's a cure for those home again blues.Being a beer drinker the lack of nice budget wines in Asia didn't worry me but my partner sure missed her six dollar bottle of chilled Queen Adelaide chardonnay. Thanks Steven for the welcome back and it really was a great trip. For me India was the highlight and going back for the third time was so much more comfortable then the first two times.I know it's a cliche but it really did feel like going home. And speaking of going home have a great time Cyber,I know you will. |
