ATM card (not visa) Plus and or Cirrus -???
im thinking about moving my millions (of pennies) to a higher yield mmma. trouble is it does not have a visa debit. what are the odds in india? what if i use it as a primary and have a debit (and cash) as backup??

MGM... I don't think it is an issue. What used to be 'Switch' cards as issued bu most of the other banks, apart from Barclays with its Visa stuff, should be fine.
My Royal Bank of Scotland card works fine, both in ATMs and shops (even the chip'n'pin stuff works, although shops here think they have to get a signature as well as entering the PIN). It is marked Maestro and Cirrus |

MGM, I had trouble understanding your question. But if this helps -- ATMs of the private bank in India work on the Cirrus and Plus system.
