Are there still loads of those dreadful dance parties?

Hi all,

About to go back to India after a good decade and was wondering if those dreadful raves have gone? I bloody hope so, I mean surely it has, it's a decade ago at least since dance music was in fashion, that stuff wasn't even good dance music, but it's moved on hasn't it? please tell me it has!

Now that I've reached an age that quite entitles to be a grumpy old man, I would like to know where the places are I should avoid. Goa I can well still imagine, but any other areas where the dreadful incessant bass thud as well as the infamous "Arthur daleys" are to be found?

Has Bhagsu in Mcleod Ganj been occupied?

Is it still Manali, Goa and Hampi to be avoided?

India, Are you sure about this? I mean after a good decade why not try and prolong the fun where you have been having it... there's a wide boy or three everywhere it seems, even in Uttarkashi now! What to do sahib?

A good decade means it has been at least 10 years....but 10 very good years too!

Actually I can't wait to go back! I've watched the Story of India twice in the last month, then the Sanjeev series...I'm at saturation point now!
