A favor if you are in CP - and a warning for eyes!

Hi - Just left India for a 3-month break, and now I need some info from Delhi. What to do? The next time someone is in CP in A block, inner circle, could you note the name of the optometrist/eyeglasses place that is on the ground floor? It has a long counter on your left as you walk in. Dont think there are any others in A block, so it should be easy. It would be a great favor for someone to just email me the name of the place!

The background: I had blurry vision for a few days, then a horrible eye infection that really scared me - thought I'd go blind! I was on the road at the time so did not go back to CP (didnt occur to me) and luckily got treated in Pushkar.

I get back to the US and am watching some daytime TV over lunch and lo and behold there is a commercial saying that there is a class action lawsuit against Bausch and Lomb over their Renu with MoisturLoc solution for causing eye infections, eye damage, blindness, etc. I was intrigued and called the toll free number - this definitely seems to be what happened to me! I was told that B and L was supposed to have pulled all product globally, not just USA. Anyways....if you wear contacts, dont use this product! Tell your friends! Spread the word in India because unscrupulous people are still selling the product (or more likely, B and L is being unscrupulous still dumping it on India!).

BTW, they are not going to sue the little guy in CP - I just need to prove I really did buy the stuff at a real optometrist office.

Thanks!

B & L is substituting all Moistureloc solutions with the normal one. If anybody is having the same, they can call up the call centre help line who will guide you on how to replace the same. I myself replaced one half used bottle (Moisturelac) with a new sealed one (Multipurpose).

Couple oof weeks(?) back, I remember reading the B&L rep in India making a statement that the solution sold in India is perfectly safe and will not be recalled because it is manufactured in a different place or maybe using different processes (I don't remember which).
