Cool A Close Shave In Goa

Had the best shave, haircut and head massage of my life in Goa at a place called the "Ground View" it was next to a small football field, Boy to these blokes know how to shave a person I had my ears, eyebrows, nasal hair all done at the same time then had my head bashed about for 5 minutes, I felt that good afterwards we went out that night and had a few cleansing ales.
Highly recommended for 50IR

Hey davey! You're lucky-when we were in Goa they were having elections so they turned the beer and wine off for a few days. Lucky we had our duty free stash! How was Jaipur or did I miss your post?

Got hooked on the White Mischielf vodka!

Didn't try the rum but the vodka packs a punch! Those Rajasthan quilts are so gorgeous! Lily & Mahendra are so generous with their time & advice! Glad you had a great time in Jaipur. We love it too!

Old Monk's good stuff, alright. Only 90 rupees a bottle in Arambol.

Spent many a happy evening getting pleasantly slaughtered on that stuff watching the sun go down this time last year.

Nice square bottle too.

Sorry steve, about it being an old thread,
70's hippy you got it, it's a good drop taste something like Captain Morgan, only a fraction price with the same old result. We had a driver who told us that if you bought it on the highway in one of the old shacks it only costs 100mIR a bottle compared to 200 to 225IR in the major towns. I watched the sun go down over Anjuna at a bar on the hill there and after a few drinks made an offer to the owner to buy the place, I thought about it later and thought I'd been quite sensible about it, bit of paint dress it up...........could make more money than the railway carriage steve...what do you think???????????

Sorry?? What for? I was just providing a link to an old thread about having a shave in India.

If you did buy the bar in Anjuna, we would have to have regular Indiamike meet-ups just to sample all the IMFS's, though I wont touch the Feni again.

I met a bunch of friendly locals in a bar halfway between Diu Town and Nagoa Beach, a few bottles of Feni were consumed.....

The next morning my hotel manager informed me that I had been seen chasing a tractor the night before...... I've done some strange things in my time, but chasing tractors was a new one for me.
