Ambling across the eastern coast of India - a half-day trip- Trip Report
Biman , actually the problem lies in the forum. Not too many of us are frequent visitor of TamilNadu forum. Being a Himalayan lover(I know you are interest is more inclined toward Heritage ans Sculpture) many of us prefer to visit Uttarakhand, Sikkim , Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir, Arunachal and the North Eastern states of India forum , and often miss few in MH, Gujrat , AP, Karnataka, Orissa forum. So many of us are partially biased to few of the forum. You wont believe first time I ever browsed TN forum is only after I posted my TL in TN forum , and wondered how did I missed such great trip reports from snonymous, Prashanna and many more wonderful writers(Ohhh how can I forgot the recent inclusion by Naveena).
Thank you so much for browsing through the photos and thanks for the appreciation. Such a word off appreciation from a master-photographer like you means a lot to a novice(Myself). Please take you time and go through the brief description ... However a word of caution , it was just a half-day trip so there was not much to write though... And the major problem is I was never a good-writer as such...
Thanks once again.

Ha ha Ruchira... It will be very soon. Getting a train ticket is the biggest stumbling block. But, might not need to wait for a long time.

Thank you, Mithun
That is my first ever initiative to write a TL.

Owing to the hugeness in variety India offers us, most of us have been selective in browsing our preferred regions.. Naveena agrees to this too. I missed Kshil's report until a moderator suggested me that one. Also that Indiamike is so dynamic, buzzing with activities round the clock - my opinion is, it's not possible to keep a track on every forum, lest we're employed full-time here!

Fully agree. Even you know I have found kshil's Himachal , MP and Arunachal TLs only after his Sikkim TL and only after his Sikkim TL I get to know what a avid traveller he is and how good a writer he is!!! So its very certain to miss a very good writing in this diversified forum. OK, I may be late, but I have atleast made it
! Mithun, excellent photos
, you have visited a very interesting place! Beach, boatride, fort, birds - what else can one ask for?
I had been on the ECR may be a year and half back! Visited Mahabalipuram, but it was raining heavily so could not see much there. I visited Mahabalipuram from Neyveli. But the best part of the trip was the drive on ECR
, when it was raining
.
Thanks for the the link to your TL! Will wait now for further posts.

Sorry Naveena for taking so long to thank you for all the good words you said about my TL. Yes - Clear Beach, Boatride, Fort, Birds, Backwater - I hardly found any comparison of the place in ECR- A must go for anyone who love to spend a morning with such a beautiful surronding.

Thank you so much DJ-Di. Its indeed a great feeling to have all my three TL placed in the photologue section. Just one more suggestion to the moderator , please check the feasibility of adding a few more subsections(Probably state wise of region wise) of the photologue. It will probably help the future readers to quickly fetch few valuable information from any of the travelogue of the specific state.
Just for example , I always love to read travelogue(Irrespective of any region) and if it is from North-East India or from Northern part of India(UK, HP, Ladakh , JnK) , I would never like to miss these. I always have a very soft corner on 'Himalaya'.
