Volvo Bus - Delhi to Jodhpur?
Volvo Bus - Delhi to Jodhpur?
I know that there is a volvo bus (new) that runs from Delhi to Jaipur but does anybody know if there is a similar service to Jodhpur and how long it would take?

While I have not done the journey myself, my slightly out of date Lonely Planet indicates that regular RSTC buses run from Delhi - Jodhpur ((260/363 R a few years ago!). The journey takes about 12 1/2 hours with 5 daily services. Roadways inquiry number 254 4686. Also, 'private buses' have offices 'opposite the train station' - but no details given.
Given the length of the journy, you might want to consider the overnight train......
