Travel in Delhi
Hi IM's,
I am new to this forum and will be shortly arriving in Delhi. I would like to know how long it takes to clear Airport Customs, Collect baggage, buy pre-book taxi and get to New-Delhi Railway station to catch my shatabadi train. I have got 5 hours between my plane landing @ 11:30 AM and boarding the train @16:30. OR, Would it be Is safe to buy next mornings train tickets as well and cancel them if everything works out OK. Thanks in Advance. BS PS This forum is best thing since the sliced double roti! |

Hi BS
welcome to the forum..... assuming your flight gets in on time .....it should take you about 1 and a half hours , max 2. The only time flight arrivals get thrown into major disarray , is during January when fog can descend to create chaos with all forms of travel. chagu |

5 hours seem to be enough time to get to the railway station! Have a nice time.
