You don't say if you have family with you. Anyway,

Nagpur to Delhi should be about 1050 km, I have done Hyderabad/Delhi a few of times and Nagpur is en route.

The route is Delhi/Agra/Gwalior/Jhansi/Bhopal/Nagpur, National Highways all the way, and is 1050 km, give or take.

I went once on this route from Nagpur: Seoni/Jabalpur/Sagar/Guna/Shivpuri/Gwalior/Agra.. but it was longer and some roads were state highways, poorly maintained specially between Jabalpur and Sagar.

Roads are usually good on the 'main route', as it is the NH.

I would, ideally, go slow, and look around at some pretty interesting places en route, if I hadnt seen them before

Agra

Gwalior
Orchha
Shivpuri- if going via Guna to Bhopal, small sanctuary, peaceful MP Tourism hotel,
Jhansi if staying on the national highway, maybe better.
Bhopal and around, Sanchi, and others

If you don't want to stop en route except minimum, I would suggest do 500 km a day ie about 9 hours a day on the road, and you will be there on the 2nd day.

The halfway mark should be between Jhansi and Bhopal.

3. what is the average speed u can maintain on this route

4. i have heard that some parts in between specifically Bhind ,Mureina etc are not very safe to pass through in night, what is ur opinion

I last did this stretch three years ago, but friends have done it last year (wrt road conditions)

With wife and daughter, avoid night driving beyond Agra. With family, I normally leave big cities very early am (maybe 4 or so), get out and stop for tea till daylight- and plan to reach/stop by afternoon. That way I have some daylight time in hand if something goes wrong. Also gives me time for local sightseeing at the destination.

I would avoid driving in MP during the hours of darkness, morning or evening. It's not unsafe, not really, but with family you don't want to take chances.

And, optimally, this journey should be done over three days, though 500km a day is quite easy. But with family it is a great opportunity to see those places en route, so stretch it out if you have the time. You will get few opportunities like this later.

You should average 55 including stops for meals, pit stops etc. Which means over 10 hours you can do 550 km. I wouldnt push it if you are the only driver. Another suggestion: first sign of sleepiness or cramps (I get them sometimes), stop and fix the problem.

Tubeless tyres are being discussed on ks_bluechip's thread on his cross country tour, just search for it. I don't know much about them at all. Maybe you could ask the question there.
