 | the current rate for car hire What's the current rate for a car hire in Tamil Nadu (Madurai) and Madhya Pradesh (Bundeklhand area) these days? Want to visit some outlying sites in the area, will prolly take a few days to accomplish it in TN, and 3-5 days in MP.. thanx for any info.

| I don't know about Madurai; but two years ago it cost me R1500 (about US$36) to rent a car with driver for a full day's excursion from Madras to Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram. |
