Taxi Jaipur

As soon as we arrive in Jaipur we intend to hire a cab (of course with driver

) for 2 days/1 night

This is our plan:
Drive to Pushkar early in the morning, stay there for one night
Drive to Shekhawati Region for a tour (by the same driver),
Drop off at Fatehpur (where we continue our journey to Bikaner by bus)
From here the taxidriver can return to Jaipur.

1. Can anyone tell me what's a reasonable price for this service?
2. Does anyone know a reliable taxi company in Jaipur that organizes this kind of trips?
3. Is it common that the driver takes care of arranging accommodation and food for himself?
4. Is it alright to leave our luggage in the back of the car?
Does anyone have experience with that?

Any tips are more than welcome..

Hi, I would recommend and suggest to check at www.fourwheeldriveindia.com as we are using them to providing rent a cab services to our company visitors and we are very much satisfied with their services. Director of company is trained instructor for driving training, very professional set up with well maintained fleet.

Hi, Driver take care of his accommodation and meal as most of company pay for that.
You can leave your stuff in the car without any problem as driver has to take care of it
Price depnd of model of car which approximate 5-9/- rupees Per km and 200-250km minimum charge ex jaipurc.

Now we have an indication of what to expect.

To be able to compare obviously we would still appreciate names/links of other reliable taxi companies in Jaipur as well.

Something about the costs.
We prefer to make an agreement about the price beforehand,
but pay the full amound at the end of trip where he droppes us off (Shekhawati).
How does this work normally?

Hi, I think you can pay at the end of your trip but safe hand every thing should be agreed between you and service provider.

Hi, there are many trave agency in jaipur. you can ask to your hotel also as most of the hotel people provide car rental service or try at Rajasthan Tour or Arawali Tours both are the reputable travel agency in Jaipur. Good Luck!!!

We are definitely going to have a great time in Rajasthan,
In fact we have 6 full weeks to explore this beautiful part of India. I am sooo much looking forward to it
