Shimla from Ambala by Bus ?

Can I go to shimla from ambala by bus ? R they regularly available ? How much time it needed ?

Yes they are , a lot of the buses plying between the Delhi - Shimla route stop there and seats get empty.

A better and faster option is to take a bus to the Chandigarh bus stand and then catch another bus to Shimla. The frequency between Ambala- Chandigarh and Chandigarh - Shimla will be higher than Ambala - Shimla direct..

Hi everyone

I need to get to Amritsar from Simla but since there are no direct train service plying this route, I'm thinking of getting a bus to Ambala then taking a connecting train to Amritsar.

Would anyone be able to let me know the frequency of buses to Ambala for morning departures and how much they cost.
