A lot of typing but no price

I'm thinkin' two grand cash will buy you a ride

The Exchange Rate is inconsequential

Budget $2000 for a new ride and less if you know how to buy and even more importantly

Know how to fix

Are you up to the challenge Bubba?

That's $2,400 US, are you sure or is that the advertised price, once I get there I'll look at both bikes and decide what will do me best, but I kinda figured $2000US/92,000 INR would buy a new bullet from Lali Singh, the price doesn't matter as much as the difference between the original cost and the buyback price, I'm thinking $1500US/69,000 INR as a buyback, so 23,000 INR will be my cost for using the bike for a few months as long as I don't wreck it

I have a trick, I'll let him remove and set aside the new exhaust and tank, that why I won't look like a virgin and when he buys it back he can put the new stuff back on and sell it as a cherry ;-)

Then again, I might be on a Pulsar, but since I don't know I try to learn about every one

Is this part of my plan feasible?

MeCasa I am not sure about the price, but saw this a while back at www.royalenfield.com before they updated their site. Royal Enfield motorcycles are costly then other motorcycles (pulsar 180 costs around 64k on road, Karizma 75k). But it also depends on which model you are buying; cheapest being the std350 which still costs more then pulsar 180.

As far as I have I heard, std500 resale value is less then that of other RE models.

Gday guys, whats the deal with taking an enfield back home with you, i live in oz, not sure what the gov here would hit you with in way of tax, but this country has a rule and complication strategy for pretty much anything you do...but still, i kinda like the idea of taking the bike i toured on home with me...cheers...

This is the local India ebay site which has a few Enfields being sold...

http://motors.listings.ebay.in/Motor...istingItemList

2000 USD sounds quite reasonable. I believe (my prices may be outdated) that one of the basic models like the Machismo should be within reach with this budget...

..will get back with some updated on road prices if i can..
