Hello. I am going a Kerala for 3 weeks with my wife and two children (9 and 14 years old). Between august and september. I would like to rent a car. But, I am not sure.
- What documentation is needed?
- Is it convenient to rent a car, regarding cost and mobility?
- Please, any car renting company suggestion?

I don't know if this is your first trip and if you have any idea about traffic in India.
It is certainly totally different from that in Europe and I strongly advice you to hire a car with driver.
Depending on the size of the car and the distance you travel it costs somewhere between 1500 en 2500 rs a day.

Renting a car with driver will let you enjoy the ride.
Recommend a larger car like Innova in your case.
