i have been trying Himachal Bus website for a week to check the time table and all I get is errors. Wrote to the webmaster and got the govt standard response ........... Website is being updated !!! Since how long and till when !!!!!!!!!!!

Is it possible to purchase bus tickets to Mumbai - Aurangabad traveling on night upon our arrival on May 19, 2008 morning? Description of buses available, schedule and level of comfort will be very helpfull.
Have been booking e-ticket on the night train but cannot successfully complete so I am considering the bus. Can I still get a sleeper berth 3A on the train upon arrival?

Any on-line site where bus tickets can be booked for this Mumbai to Aurangabad travel? Any bus recommendation?

Red bus is not contained to south India....it has services based out of North India as well.

redbus has been in the game for a while now, and were actually one of the first entrants into the online bus reservation/ticketing domain.....they have just started services in north India ( a little late)

For west and south India, I have found Ticketvala.com most reliable. They also have some trips in the north, I saw Manali and Jammu on the list online but have not tried the service there. The good thing is, you can call them and book an entire bus (or large jeep)! It came in handy when 8 of us went to Udaipur. We hired a Qualis van for a week and it sure was more comfy than booking individual bus tickets and carting around luggage.

if you are to travel by KPN please be ready to get into nasty drivers and staff, i travld a lot with them and not one good experience

Hoping someone has the answer to this...
When I try to book a bus ride with HRTC (Delhi-Manali) the only options to select are TATA-AC, VOLVO-AC and DELUXE.
I can't work out how to order a sleeper or even a semi sleeper. I understand that these types of buses are probably VOLVO-AC, but how can I tell which I am ordering?
