| NOC for bike Hi All, I am travelling North India by bike for a month. I am from Bangalore. I am planning to take my bike from Bangalore to Delhi by train. Do I need to obtain a No Objection certificate from the local RTO. No sure as some people told me it's not required as the bike is on my name and the journey fro less than 16 months. Let me know if anyone has any information. Thanks, Sam |

| Renegade Killer Bee | a. When in India do they not harass out of towners (its more in other states like gujarat than in delhi).? LOL b. You have a valid to-fro ticket in the railways only. Rest pack your wits with you. Of course everyone will try to fleece you! But I don't think delhi guys would bother with NOC nonsense. |

| I was talking about railway department as a whole and the system of 'chai pani'. Govt offcials are always good with excuses so would not like to give them a chance ... |

| Lost in Space | The main thing is that the registered owner has to travel with the bike. |
