New Traffic Rule in Hyderabad

Hey guys, here's an interesting article I just saw on Yahoo news. Apparently if you break a traffic rule, you will now be made a traffic constable for a day.

I think it is a good idea.

But like being sentenced to do so many hours of community service.

I like it. I endorse it. Provided I'm made the C.I. Or better still C.O.P.

Just because, fellow Hyderabadis scared the crap out of me when I was there last.

So people who don't or wont follow the rules, are the ones that get to enforce them?

that'll be interesting Like the idea of getting people to experience what its like to be on the other end of bad driving.

an interesting idea. I was driving around Hyderabad yesterday and there were plenty on police around, 3 or 4 at almost every intersection, do they really need any more? Perhaps the new 'recruits' are meant to do the work so the real cops can continue standing around on the side of the road
