This is the news forum, and you are not giving us any news!

By the way, what's LTC?

Leave Travel Concession - a facility that Indian companies give to their employees to travel once a year to a destination of choice.
You will have to produce bills for accommodation and transport for the amount that is allowed to you as LTC or more. That is all that is needed. So get bills from Hotels and train tickets/taxi/bus fares. Attach them with the prescribed form and submit to be reimbursed the amount.

Brutus, I thought am in Indiamike, the India Travel Forum.. Btw, you are making me to give my professional advise to you as a Chartered Accountant ! Anyway, send your address to his thread and my bill will follow ...

For LTA, Travels within India is permitted by the shortest possible route. You can either do it by train or air. In case of Air, you need to submit the boarding pass (though there is a SC judgement which says proof need not be submitted but presented if asked by the ITO) and in case of train, the PNR no of the ticket you have travelled. In case you have performed journey in car / jeep where train / air is not accessible, then the bills for the same...

Legally these are the things permitted.. You need to fend for yourself for food and lodging...

Mod Note:

I have shifted this query to a (slightly) more appropriate forum.
