Need Car+driver starting Udaipur for 7 days

After reading this site very carefully and making a gut decision, I have decided on a new itinerary. This site has been amazingly helpful. I hope thru the site to find a good driver and car starting in Udaipur and ending in Jaipur

My itinerary:

November 12 12pm arrive Udaipur see Eklingi

November 13th half day in siteseeing in UdaipurThen to Mt Abu

November 14 Day morning Mt abu then Ranakpur temples

November 15 & 16 In Kumbhalgarh

November 17th till 10 or 11 in Kumbhalgarb then Pushkar

November 18th midmorning to Jaipur. Driver leaves for Udaipur at 8pm

Does anyone have an idea how much this should cost ?
Or who might be a good person to contact?

If the tour starts in Udaipur and ends at Jaipur, the cost will be same whether you hire from Udaipur or Jaipur (you have to pay for the return to base!)

An air-con will cost USD 40/- per day
Non-air-con will cost USD 35/- per day

You are allowed a mileage of 1750 KM, which should be more than what you are likely to use.

These are all inclusive costs.

Do I look for tourist taxis in the phone book or try to get a hotel to set it up or walk near the better hotels and negotiate a deal on the spot.

Every thing could be okay. You can do what you say or try to get information through the web. There are several tourist car-driver on it that can give you and idea about their service and costs; but in any case discuss and negotiate the rates.
