How to get to Pune from Mumbai Domestic Airport?

Hi,

I am travelling from Mangalore to Pune via Mumbai. I want to do the Mumbai-Pune stretch by cool cab. Can anybody let me know the procedure of hiring one at the Mumbai Domestic Airport?

Well,
Just outside the airport cool cabs are available. Also there are some prepaid cabs too inside the airport. There is regular bus service too from the airport to Pune, these are very comfortable A\c Volvo buses. Non rush hours you will reach Pune with in 2 and half to three hours. By any chance u miss the bus from airport u can catch VOLVO buses from Dadar too. Every half an hour there are VOLVO buses to Pune from dadar. Whenever i travelled alone i prefered this bus than Cool Cab.

Yep, catch a cab to Dadar. Ask for Asiad bus stand. You have two choices ...Cool cab or Bus. Tickets are issued at the counter. You can share the car. A car (mostly Indica) leaves soon 4 passengers are filled in. Or you can pay for 4 tickets and travel alone in king style . Some times 3 passengers decide to share the cost for 4 seats so that they can travel a bit comfortably. All the deals are done with professional zeal, Mumbai style.
