Hi All,
I'm finally in Rishikesh and having a great time. I wanted to post this as a pay back for all the good tips I got while surfing this site before I left. There is a great company here if you're planning on doing any touring by car called Triveni Travel Services. They are based in Rishikesh but operate out of Delhi also and can provide car and driver to just about any destination you care to go to at very reasonable rates. The owner, Butta Ram, is a straight up guy and you won't be jacked around on price or anything like that. Their Ph # 0135 2430989 also same area code 2431132 and fax 2432989. Steven, I paid 2000rs flat. No tax, no bull. I did gladly treat the driver to lunch in chattigarh on the way. They picked me up at my hotel in Paharganj and dropped me at my hotel in Rishikesh. I called two other services and was quoted 3100 & 3800rs for the same service. The car was new but non AC. The driver was very good (thank god) and very friendly. Hope this helps.
